How Religious Teachers in Malaysia Brainwashed Me as a Child (IRL)

I wrote about the topic closest to my heart: leaving church and the Evangelical Christian faith. If you visit my blog regularly (I love you—coffee/beer/your-preferred-beverage on me), my lost of faith isn’t news to you.

But this time, I’ve written about stuff I’ve never written about before.

After leaving church, I tried out seminary. I was invited to write for a Christian publication. Both ended in tears, literally and metaphorically.

I wrote about these experiences. I also talked about how losing my faith has broken my heart.

The article was meant for IRL, but they have guidelines to toe, so my article has been heavily edited, and there is no mention of seminary or the publication.

But if you want the real meat, the gore and the blood, click HERE to read my unedited draft on Medium.
