The more I learn from this world,

The more I love it.

The more I loathe it.

There is a theory I have, that-

There are no bad guys and good guys.

There are just different degrees of damaged people.

I met someone equally damaged as me, yesterday.

I met someone less damaged than me, today.

I might meet someone more damaged than me, tomorrow.

Some people are dealt long straws.

Some people are dealt short straws.

Some people are dealt ultra short straws.

There are people guided by fear.

There are people guided by love.

There are people guided by the perceived greater good.

Some people live in the shadows of society.

Some people live in the facade of perfection.

Some people live in the ignored nuances of life.

And this world is cruel.

And this world is wicked.

And this world is twisted-

And this world is selfish.

And this world is unjust.

And this world is despondent.

But for every cruel, there is compassion.

But for every wicked, there is virtue.

But for every twisted, there is righteousness-

But for every selfish, there is kindness.

But for every unjust, there is justice.

But for every despondent, there is joy.

We don’t always agree.

We don’t always see eye to eye.

We don’t always condone another’s actions.

However, can we agree to love?

However, can we agree to respect?

However, can we agree to protect one other?

Mankind’s innovation-

Mankind’s ingenuity-

Mankind’s liberalism-

A people that will sacrifice cherished traditions in the name of love-

A people that strive for nothing less than equality-

A people that recognizes the necessity and essentiality of progress-

That’s what I love about this world.
